There are certain people you meet in life who impact your direction without even realizing it. For me, Mrs. Ogunde is one of those people.
I remember a time when I was still figuring things out—unsure of my capacity, unsure of my voice, and even more unsure of what I could truly become. But somehow, she saw something in me….
There were moments when leadership felt overwhelming, and when stepping forward felt like too big a risk, but Mrs. Ogunde had this calm but powerful way of pushing you forward—of reminding you that you were capable, that you were ready, and that you had to try.
And today, as I stand leading my own team – Ace It Tutors, I realize that so much of who I am in that role reflects her influence. She taught me that leadership is not about control—it is about impact.
It is about lifting others, guiding them, and helping them become the very best version of themselves.
