Ayodele Ibojiemenmen -
I finally summoned up courage to write.
@“Ayo,” as you fondly call me, you never allowed me to miss out on any Edumark program or celebration. I am a proud beneficiary of your numerous seminars and initiatives. You have achieved so much in the education sector that I sincerely looked forward to the day you would become an Education Minister.
Beyond school owners and teachers, your impact on the lives of so many people is truly immeasurable. Countless individuals found shelter over their heads because you created programs that not only empowered them but also put food on their tables. You are an inspiration to thousands, including my daughter. I remember vividly how, as she watched you being celebrated by your foundation mentees last year, she expressed her desire to grow up to become a great woman like you.
This tribute video also reminds me of how deeply you connected with culture. You always honour Daddy Ogunde and never missed an opportunity to reference the legacy and memories of the great Pa Ogunde songs at events.
Hmmmm… the news of your passing came as a great shock. Your immense contributions to Phostine Premium Schools will never be forgotten.
Rest well, our great Amazon,
Mummy Yinka Ogunde.
