The Nigerian education community has suffered a tremendous loss with the passing of Mrs. Ogunde.
Though we never met in person, she created space for meaningful connection and collaboration in ways that left a lasting impression on me. She consistently included me in conversations around education reform in Nigeria and even invited me onto her platform to share my perspective on driving change.
Her openness was a strength that always stood out to me. Despite her experience and influence, she made space for thoughtful dialogue and engaged with others in a way that made you feel heard and valued. She embodied a rare kind of humility and a deep commitment to shared progress.
Her work and legacy in education will continue to inspire so many of us committed to change, both within Nigeria and beyond.
